Our Little Soccer Player

Since it's been so rainy this past week, we've had to enjoy our pool indoors for now.

He is so funny because he's figured out how to kick a soccer ball while he's walking, but still doesn't do things that he "should" be doing, like crawling, or pulling himself up. I guess he just likes to keep things interesting...

First Haircut

Tiernan got his first haircut on Mother's Day. He was okay with it until the lady started touching his neck with the scissors. He did like driving the car and was entertained for a little bit by the Thomas the Train video. We all survived, and now he looks more like a little boy instead of a baby...

The faux-hawk (notice he has short hair on the sides!)

We considered dying his hair purple to match his hairstylist's. ;)

A little video of him bouncing the basketball with Ethan. Hopefully he'll get his dad's sports genes instead of mine!

Disgusting

I hesitated to even put these up because I thought, what good mother in her right mind would think, "I should grab my camera" instead of, "Oh my gosh, my son is playing in the toilet! Get him outta there?" He's building up his immunity, right?? In any case, I think we've officially gotten into the habit of closing the bathroom door behind us when we are finished using it.

Thought this pic was so cute-

Ewwww....

Visiting the Junk

Last week I was brave and took Tiernan by myself to GJ. He actually did well in the car both ways! We had so much fun playing with the grandparents, aunt and uncle, and of course the cousins. I was happy to get out of the cold weather for a little bit and actually got a little sunburn (in the 80 degree weather!) I must be an albino...
Can you tell it was sunny that day?

His favorite toy was the balloon. Why is my child always naked?

"Helping" Grandma wash off the picnic table

I was surprised how much Tiernan loved the water because before this, everytime I'd put his hand in running water, he'd pull his hand away. He would walk over to the hose and splash around in it and laugh and laugh.
