Egg-xiting Easter and the Last of the Birthdays (for another 6 weeks or so!)

April has been a crazy busy month in our household between the twins' second birthdays, Easter, and getting ready for our big move-which is SUPPOSED to happen this Saturday.  We can't wait!

Zane and Jaxson were doing selfies one day while we were playing out at the new house while Daddy was running the skid steer.  Zane was totally into it, and Jaxson's tongue was the best we could muster....

Here we are at Eaton's Easter egg hunt.  Look how thrilled Ethan was to be there.  Town Easter egg hunts really bug me because you have to rush so fast to get any eggs, it totally takes the fun out of it.  Everyone HURRY!  Push the other kids outta the way if you have to!  Just run and get eggs-that's all that matters!! (insert sarcasm)

I finally got a shot of all four boys (yes, it's their butts-so what?)  We decided that we need to keep a pile of dirt out there for all our boys to dig through.  I think that's their favorite part about our new house.

Here we are bravely dying Easter eggs.  The big boys did really well, and the twins....well....they didn't quite get it, and just really wanted to throw the eggs in the dye to make them splash and/or try to eat the dye.

My twinkies turned two!!  We (again) had a small party at home with Ethan's family.

In a miraculous turn of events, all four boys fell asleep in the car when we were driving the other day.  I thought it was funny how Zane fell asleep with his hand on his face.

Next time I post we will hopefully be in our BRAND NEW house!  Woo-hoo!

A Visit from my Sister and Tiernan's Birthday

My sister was able to make the trip over the mountains to visit us during her kids' Spring Break.  We had such a fun time.  The weather was lovely, and she only got stuck at my house for a few extra hours because of snow in the mountains-a record for her!  We always joke that she brings blizzards to the mountains-

We were able to meet up at the Denver Zoo, and all the kids had a great time.  The weather was beautiful that day and the twins made it until the afternoon before their first meltdown.  A success!  I was not very good at taking pictures-so all you get is kids and not very many of the animals we saw.

I was so proud of the babies for staying in their stroller almost all day.  They were troopers!

Ack!  My biggest boy is just as tall (or maybe a smidge taller?) than Libby who is a year and a half older than him.  What??

I think this is the only picture with all six kids-but you can't even see Cameron.  And Libby is the only one smiling at the camera.

The kids were SOOOO excited to ride the merry-go-round and the train.  Jacob was so cute that he helped Tiernan and held his hand on the ride.  What a good big cousin!

Cameron was not so sure about the ride.  Look at him clutching my arm in terror.

We waited in line FOREVER to ride the train for literally 5 minutes.  We had a few meltdowns in line waiting for our turn, but everyone was so happy when we got to go around the tracks.

I'm always trying to catch them holding hands in the car.  They will grab each other's hands and giggle and giggle.  It is so adorable!

We also got to celebrate Tiernan's 6th birthday at the end of this month.  I can't believe my biggest boy is six years old!!  We went out to the property where we're building our house and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Zane really wanted to sit with Jaxson, and Jaxson was SO mad that he had to share.
Those two crack me up!

Getting ready to blow out the candles!

Ethan was crazy and/or not paying attention and bought BLUE frosting for Tiernan's cupcakes.  I'm sure his kindergarten teacher just LOVED us the day we brought treats to school.  Everyone's mouths and tongues and teeth and hands were dyed blue.

What a fun day!

I had to get a picture the other night of the boys all trying to pile on top of Ethan while we were watching a movie.  My boys love their daddy!
