Playing Dress Up

My little ones have lately been fascinated with playing dress up.  This is what makes me crazy about having kids.  I had a huge pile of dress up type clothes that no one had ever been interested in.  Then just right about when I give up and think that I just need to give the stuff away, they decide it's super fun to play dress up.  So, this is why I sometimes have a hard time parting with toys.  Okay, it's not THAT hard, but still.  It's frustrating to get rid of a bunch of toys only to later have the kiddos decide they're into it.  Sheesh.

One day I felt like death from being sick, and Brenda graciously took the boys so I could rest and go to the doctor.  Do you see the tape across their mouths?  She said they wanted it....
I'm not convinced :)

There was one super HOT day this week, and the boys played outside all day in the blow up pool.  All of them but Zane conked out on the couch while watching a movie.  It was so cute.

This is what I've been dealing with on an almost daily basis with all the rain we've been getting this spring.

Happy 1st Birthday!

We were so lucky that we got to spend Holden's first birthday in Grand Junction.  Poor baby barely got a sheet cake for his birthday-apparently that's all we could muster for baby numero cinco.

We are so blessed to have you as part of our family Holden Luke!  What a ride it's been already!

Grand Junction, Part Dos

Jaxson was so proud to be a big boy and get to hold Jacob's guinea pig.  I think Oreo was so scared he didn't want to move!

Oh geez, the boys were all fighting over the trikes.  Even the big boys!

Jaxson and I practiced our selfies

Cameron was so pumped to go to the Dinosaur Museum in Fruita.  Jacob was excited to have someone to drag around and be interested with him.

Notice the Camarasaurus skeleton

The boys got to play in the water and rocks.  We stayed there a long time.

Then they dug "fossils" in the dirt

We had fun sitting on the earthquake simulator-Jacob is such a good cousin and took good care of the littles.

Cameron was in heaven!  He wanted his picture next to the stegosaurus.  We had to look at that one several times.

Grand Junction, Part Uno

We got to spend a good long time in Grand Junction.  We hadn't seen my family since Christmas, so it was so nice to spend an extended period of time with them.  We had so much fun!

The twins were not so sure at first about riding with Grandpa on the lawn mower

One night we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores

Tiernan and Cameron were able to have a few sleepovers at my sister's house.  Apparently it was very cold at her house one of those nights because they were all bundled up at the breakfast table.

The boys had such a fun time with their cousins!
