Ethan's Out of Town! (Lord, help me)

I am seriously so lucky that Ethan gets to be at home every night with us.   And, I realize that this is totally not a big deal to anyone whose spouses travel for their jobs, but Ethan has been out of town the past four days.  I'm not exactly sure why, but I was completely freaked out!  I mean, really, Ethan is already gone for most of when the boys are awake anyways-not like it'd be THAT different, right?  ;)
I tried to fill our days with lots of busy-ness, to distract the kids, and ME.
Cameron got a new puzzle from Grandma Cozzens, and he was so proud that he put it together himself.

What is going on here??  The boys were all happily playing in the same room, at the same time for like at least 10 minutes.  WHA????

Well, I think we were extra bored one day with the hot-ness outside so I helped the boys make a paper road on the coffee table.

Look at those cute nudey boys cramming themselves in the water table

My sister, hubby, and her kids came up to visit for a quick over-nighter.  We visited a park in Fort Collins and rode the trolley.

I think I am old, because I am terrible at taking selfies!

My sister always gets the cutest pictures of Holden!

We also took a trip to the Gardens at Spring Creek.  They had a few water features to play in and lots of cool things to explore.  We need to go on a cooler day though, because we were melting in the 90 degree weather!

Only one more day to go until we see Daddy again!  We can't wait!

June happenings

The boys still love playing dress up.  Pay no attention which is the disaster which is our basement.

Love the costume that a million sizes too small for him.  But how cute are they?

For Father's Day this year the boys wore mustaches for Gary who has the most awesome mustache ever!  He thought it was funny, thankfully.

Holden was not amused.

The Mecum auto auction came to Denver a few weeks ago, and Ethan's co-worker gave us tickets!  Ethan was so pumped to see all the super fancy cars. Tiernan really wanted to be on TV, but no dice.

Fun in the Sun!

We have been having such a fun summer!  I love being able to spend so much time outdoors.  I'm still trying to learn how to be a good mom and remember to put sunscreen and bug spray on.  OY!

The boys were so proud of their birdhouse that they "built" aka put together from a kit.

Oh my word.  We put in central air conditioning, and man, it has changed my life.  I was melting, melting, melting before, and now?  Climate control is a beautiful thing.

The boys were making a train with the cars and trikes that the big boys are WAY too big for.  It was pretty cute, and lasted like 5 minutes before ending in arguments and gnashing of teeth.

Smile and act like you like each other!

I also have super cute nude-y pictures of the twins running around in the sprinklers, but thought better of putting them on the inter-webs for the sickos to see.

The twins did tee ball this year for 3 year olds.  Tee ball in the loosest sense of the word.  The last day they tried to scrimmage a game.  It was kind of hilarious watching all these kids running around having no idea what they were supposed to be doing and/or staring off into space and in Zane's case, crying every time someone wanted him to run the bases.  Geez.

I think they breed them blonde in Eaton....
