I've Got a Lot of Catching up to do...Hang on!

Well there is an actual excuse for not updating the blog in, oh, about three months.  Well, other than four obvious reasons.  I was using our shiny(ish) new computer one day and harmlessly drinking a glass of milk which I seriously never, ever do.  But of course that one day I knocked it all over our laptop and fried it.  Grrr!  Well, at least it was my fault-I have no one to blame but myself.
We finally bought a new computer this week and I totally feel old because it has Windows 8 which I am completely frustrated by because I don't know how to navigate through it.  I caught myself even saying (yes, out loud to myself) "Why did they change it?  It was perfectly fine before!"  Yes, I am slowly turning into a cranky old lady who won't embrace change.

All this aside, here is the entire month of May in pictures...exciting I know....
This month the babies started to stand holding onto things.  And yes, learning how to push and shove each other out of the way.  Good times to be had by all.

Okay, am I the only one annoyed that this park has only one baby swing but like 18 "disability" swings?  How insensitive of me I know.  But seriously I've never ever seen those swings used by the people they are designed for.

Since we've been living in Greeley we've had to expand our park horizons.  Our favorite park so far is Glenmere Park.  It's perfect for this age because there are all kinds of trees and bushes to explore-not to mention ponds full of frogs and geese and ducks.  We usually only spend like 10 minutes at the playground part, and like an hour in the rest.  SO fun.
We've dubbed this tree the "tree house." The boys love going under it the best.

They have so much fun climbing on rocks and chasing each other through the shrubbery.  Yes, I just wrote shrubbery.

The first real haircuts
I'd been badly cutting Zane's hair every once in a while.  It was finally time to give it up and use the clippers.  A little traumatic for everyone involved....
They always start out okay....

This is horrible!

The "After" shots
Voila!  What cute boys!
