Grand Junction, Part Dos

Jaxson was so proud to be a big boy and get to hold Jacob's guinea pig.  I think Oreo was so scared he didn't want to move!

Oh geez, the boys were all fighting over the trikes.  Even the big boys!

Jaxson and I practiced our selfies

Cameron was so pumped to go to the Dinosaur Museum in Fruita.  Jacob was excited to have someone to drag around and be interested with him.

Notice the Camarasaurus skeleton

The boys got to play in the water and rocks.  We stayed there a long time.

Then they dug "fossils" in the dirt

We had fun sitting on the earthquake simulator-Jacob is such a good cousin and took good care of the littles.

Cameron was in heaven!  He wanted his picture next to the stegosaurus.  We had to look at that one several times.

Grand Junction, Part Uno

We got to spend a good long time in Grand Junction.  We hadn't seen my family since Christmas, so it was so nice to spend an extended period of time with them.  We had so much fun!

The twins were not so sure at first about riding with Grandpa on the lawn mower

One night we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores

Tiernan and Cameron were able to have a few sleepovers at my sister's house.  Apparently it was very cold at her house one of those nights because they were all bundled up at the breakfast table.

The boys had such a fun time with their cousins!

May happenings

We have a fake owl on our front porch to scare away sparrows.  All the sudden one day Jaxson decided that the owl was his buddy.  He was giving him hugs and telling him all kinds of stories.  It was so cute and so strange.

The littles have been obsessed with wearing Ethan's old high school ball caps-even to bed!

The past few springs we've had some wonderful but wild stormy weather.  One day we had a tornado/flood/winter storm warnings.  Sheesh!  The boys were captivated one day by the downpour.  I caught the middles all in mid-jump!

Since Tiernan is done with school, we go on an almost daily walks/bike rides down the dirt road by our house.  The boys throw rocks in the canal, pick up treasured rocks, and explore the fallen down trees.

My obsession with sleeping babies continues!

We went off-roading a few weeks ago BECAUSE I LOVE MY HUSBAND, and look at the beautiful view!

Look at those cute boys wearing their dad's shoes

Springtime!

We made our first trip to Firehouse Subs.  The boys were so pumped about the fire hats they got with their kids' meals.

My crazy twins turned three!  It was FINALLY their turn to open presents, blow out candles, and the best part....the balloons!

One of their presents was a bubble machine.  You know how obsessed I am with that, and for good reason.  Look how happy the baby is!

Ethan was so mortified that Zane picked out my shiny sandals to wear around the house.

One rainy day the boys were watching the old Looney Tunes.  They thought they were hilarious!  Like belly laughing.  It was so cute.

Look what a good helper I was that instead of helping push the boys on the swings I took a picture instead!

Geez, I am so lucky that this is the view I get to look out at EVERY DAY!  I never get tired of looking at the mountains.
