Cameron Turns One!

We celebrated Cameron's 1st birthday on Saturday. I can't believe he'll turn one in two days! The year has flown by! The night before his birthday he started taking real steps between Ethan and I-ones where he balances on his toes and doesn't just fall into us. I'm sure one day he'll just take off! Once again, I tried posting a video, but the file is too large. I really need to figure this out!

For the party we had Ethan's extended family over as well as members of our Windsor "Lifegroup." It was so fun to have everyone there to celebrate with us!

Tiernan was so sick the day of the birthday party-I kept joking that we just have to mention having a b-day party and he gets sick-remember he was sick for both his 1st and 2nd birthday parties?? What is the deal with that?
Nick and sweet baby Eli

Ethan the Pied Piper of children (it's amazing what toys can do!)

Cameron loves his new doggy.

Look at those glossy eyes :( Poor boy

So much fun!

Sisters Kealani and Denali

Cameron was not too impressed by the cake

He grabbed the frosting and then got freaked out when it stuck to his hands

What a big boy!

My attempt at being creative-it took three hours just to frost-ridiculous!

What a handsome boy in his cute firetruck outfit from Auntie Tiffany.

February

Well I am a slacker and haven't posted any pics in a really long time. What's new in our lives? Not much, other than the fact that my BABY is almost 1 year old. I can't believe how fast it's gone by. Cameron is SO close to walking. He loves crawling around the room and recently figured out how to "cruise" along furniture.
Oh, wait. Something else-I have ventured into the scary land of potty training. Tiernan actually has picked up on the idea pretty quickly. If we are at home he does a great job of running to the potty when he needs to go. (However, aiming into the potty is a whole other story!) I spend most of the time cleaning up pee off the floor. But I guess I should be excited that he's not doing it in his pants, right? Our next hurdle is going to the bathroom in public. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to manage that with a baby in tow. But other mothers have survived this, I suppose, and my mom promises that he won't go to college not potty trained. I'm still not convinced.
In any case, here are the latest pictures of my boys:
A cup of milk before bed

What a cutie pie!

Tiernan woke up at o-dark thirty the other day and fell asleep on his daddy by mid-morning. Ethan enjoyed a little cuddle time since it rarely happens anymore!

Fun at Bedtime

I was trying to post a video of Cameron scooching across the floor but apparently the file is too big (grrr!) So I just wasted about 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

It's been so fun to watch Cameron move around since Tiernan never crawled or scooted. Betchu wish you could see it, but that's tooooo bad.

I guess you'll have to settle for some new pictures of my sweet boys:

We were having fun playing in our pjs one night before bed. It didn't do much in the way of winding down to sleep, but they sure were cute...

Christmas 2010

We spent Christmas this year in GJ with my parents and extended family. I was also recovering from surgery so it was SO nice having the extra help with the kiddos. Tiernan and Cameron had so much fun playing with their cousins and getting all kinds of extra love and attention from grandparents, aunties, and uncles.

John Deere hat from G.G. (my grandma)

The best gift of the day was an ultrasound photo from Josh and Dez. We are so excited to have another cousin on the way, due in July!

This was the first Christmas Tiernan understood what happens when we open up the gifts.

Cameron was cracking us up! Whenever I'd pull out my camera to take a picture he'd scrunch up his nose and smile, smile, smile. How does he already have us all wrapped around his little finger? Oh, probably because he's adorable. (again, a little biased)

I was banned from giving puzzles to Tiernan by his Dad (how BORING) but he loved the ones given to him by his Grandma

Libby and Cameron

He looks more and more like his dad every day

Cameron had so much fun playing with G-pa (my grandpa)

We pulled out the Christmas train (that used to be ours when we were kids.) What a fiasco. It didn't stay on the tracks, when we could even get it lined up right, and didn't have enough power to make it around the bend. Tiernan didn't care too much and was sad when we had to put it away (because the adults were too frustrated.)

See the silly scrunchy face?

Love this pic of Cameron and Grandpa

9 months old

My baby is now 9 months old. When I took him in for his Dr. visit this week, he weighed 19 lbs. 8 oz. (30%, can you believe it?), and was 28 3/4 in. long (75%.) Here are pics of both of the boys at 9 mos. for your viewing pleasure:

Check out those dimples! (and teeth, of which he has four and another one coming in) It's been endless fun of teething for the past couple of months around here.

Oh my gosh, look how little Tiernan was! It makes me a little sentimental!

Snow Day and Gerber Baby

We got a bunch of snow here the other day. So we spent 10 minutes getting our snow pants, winter coat, gloves, hat, etc etc on and then spent 10 minutes outside before coming back inside because it was too cold (for Mom, that is.)

Tiernan loved going down the little slide in his snow pants because it made him go extra fast.

He had so much fun driving his trucks in the snow

All bundled up and ready to go outside

Well I'm probably more than a little bit biased, but I'm pretty sure I have the cutest baby around. Cameron is almost 9 months old now. He loves holding on to things to stand and is just figuring out how to make his walker work. He keeps trying to crawl and can get his little feet up under him, but usually ends up just pushing himself back over onto his back. Cameron is a chatty little guy-loves to babble and definitely lets me know when he is upset by shrieking. Overall he is very happy baby and I am so blessed to be his mommy.
Love his little coveralls-but they are not so much fun when it comes time to get dressed/change diapers

Could he be any cuter?

Halloween!

Here are our adventures at Halloween. We had quite the crazy day. :) First we carved pumpkins, then we went to about five houses trick or treating, and then went to Auntie Megan's house for dinner.

I keep trying to move the pictures so they're in the right order, but it's not letting me. Blogger makes me crazy sometimes!! Anyway, Tiernan was Lightening McQueen's pit crew for Halloween. Here he is on his way to trick or treat.
Aren't these the most precious pictures?

Tiernan is slowly warming up to the idea of pumpkin carving. Mostly he thought it was gross and didn't want to get his hands all slimy. And he was especially frightened to stick his hand inside. He had the most fun by taking the pieces I'd carved out and sticking them back in (eyes, nose, mouth) like a puzzle.

Cameron had fun playing with the seeds and getting all messy.

Doesn't he look like a little boy and not a baby?? :(

What a cutie!

Here are my little karate kid and pit crew member (and Daddy)
